Meningitis

The reason that I chose meningitis because this disease could happen to anybody. Usually it is common to happen to babies. Meningitis is a bacterial infection of the membranes covering the brain and the spinal cord . The most common cause of meningitis is mainly a viral infection that usually cures itself without treatment, another cause of meningitis is a bacterial infection which is more extremely serious and can result in brain damage or even worse death. There are other reasons that may cause meningitis such as drug allergies,and fungi.

If you have meningitis some symptoms that you will notice right away if you have this disease are fever and chills, vomiting, severe headache, and a stiff neck. There are also symptoms that happen but a little after you have the disease such as fast breathing, and a lost in appetite.Doctors will notice if you have this symptom because you have a fast heart rate, stiff neck,and fever.
